Essential Functions and Responsibilities

The Chief Financial Officer (?CFO?) will join the Company at its Reston, Virginia offices, taking on one of the most senior roles in the organization. This individual will have primary day-to-day responsibility for planning, managing, and controlling all finance and accounting-related functions for the Company. This will include direct responsibility for business analysis and planning, financial systems, financial controls, accounting, financial and external reporting, budgeting, treasury and cash management, SEC filings, SOX 404 compliance, and other areas as appropriate. The CFO will also play a significant role in the Company?s Investor Relations activities and be a key part of the Company?s strategic planning. Ultimately, the CFO needs to be a business partner for the CEO and other senior managers?involved in and contributing to the overall strategic direction and high-level operational management of the Company.

The company?s priority for the future is to create value for its shareholders by profitably developing and delivering throughout the world a broad range of high-quality management and technology training. This senior financial executive will play the key role in assuring that all financial operations and controls are effectively managed and leveraged toward this goal. The CFO will organize and lead the worldwide financial strategy for the company to drive consistent increases in profitable revenues.

A key responsibility of the CFO will be leading a strong team that takes initiative, promotes open collaboration and communication on important issues, and displays a high level of personal commitment to the business. Continuing to build, nurture, and grow such a team, and maintaining the Finance and Accounting organization as a world-class unit, is a critical component of the CFO?s responsibilities.

Moreover, the CFO will be responsible for establishing and maintaining efficient financial systems and controls that reflect ?best practices? with respect to timeliness, efficiency, and relevant reporting for effective management of the business.

The successful candidate will lead or contribute significantly to other principal activities, including:
? Take full ownership of financial planning and budgeting for the company.
? Take full responsibility for on-going analysis of business results and for focusing executives and operating unit management on opportunities for profit.
? Head the company?s working relationship with external auditors, and coordinate proactive communication among the auditors, Company management, and appropriate Board members.
? Regularly communicate with Company Board members regarding financial and governance issues.
? Build, maintain, use, and improve models for projecting financial and business performance.
? Take responsibility for creating new business plans and working with operating management to build and implement plans.
? Ensure Company is fully in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements (SEC, Sarbanes-Oxley, tax, Government reporting, etc.).
? Review, improve as necessary, and maintain the Company?s international tax strategy and tax compliance processes.

This position reports to the CEO.

Qualifications and skills:
? 7+ years experience as CFO of a publicly traded company with revenues in excess of $ 100 million
? Experience in International company
? Hands-on SEC reporting and SOX compliance experience
? Excellent analytical and communication skills
? Strong accounting knowledge. Accounting degree or CPA
? Good presentation skills
? Team player
